Hi there,

After installing the latest WB and OB i have problems with showing the wallpapers set in OB on the destkop.

In every VD of OB i have set a different wallpaper.
When i start up my PC and / or switch to an another VD in OB i don't get the wallpaper that is shown in the VD of OB on my desktop.

I can see in the upper left and right corner of the desktop a little of the wallpaper that is shown in de VD of OB.
So it seems that there is another wallpaper on top of it.

How do i get the correct wallpaper showing on my desktop?

The same thing has happened to me. Since I upgraded to the new version I no longer get customised wallpapers. I knew I should have ignored this upgrade.

Hello people at Stardock.

Could someone of you care to response to my question?

Greetings!

bussie, since you say this has happened after installing the latest WB (I'm taking you mean WB6 Beta) I would hit the below link. It's for WB6 Beta feedback. You should get a resonse there.

WWW Link

If you don't get a response at the above link I would contact Support@Stardock.com.

The problem was introduced with a Virtual Desktops patch, not WB so I wouldn't want to post a potentially confusing bug report on the WB feedback thread.

Also, if these are not official support forums then they absolutely should not be here at all. Is there a "legitimate" support forum we should use instead?

Thanks!

Nick

The forums are for users of Stardock's products. The help is provided by end users on a casual basis. Sometimes moderators and/or Stardock employees will post threads for a specific purpose and threads should be kept generally on topic. All official support is provided by Stardock through email. I hope that clears things up a bit.

Hi there, i would like to reply to the replies above.

I think when there are forums that people of Stardock should read and answer questions in these forums.
I'm already a long time user of Stardock products (since OS2 days) and i'm used to getting answers via the forums from Stardock people.

Sending a question to support@stardock.com doesn't get you always an answer.

The reason that i did post my question in the OB-section was that i did think that the new version OB (which has support for VD's) was causing the problems.

I would like to thank Nick for his response. That did the trick!
After installing the previous version of VD my VD's are working normal again.
