Hi there,
Can someone tell me where the settings are saved from Stardock Virtual Desktops?
I did look for ini-files and things like that, but i can't find it.

Hi bussie, you can find them for the current user in the registry under:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\BandVWM
and the "global" setting in:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\BandVWM
As usual, take care when editing the registry...

Can Stardock explain why these settings are saved in the registry and not in an ini-file or something like that?
For backing up your settings this is a more difficult way.
Export the registry settings and then backup and restoring is also more difficult.
In all other programs from Stardock the settings are saved in ini-files and easy to backup.
